We are a friendly, safe, caring community in which happy and confident children can reach their full potential.
Who has been camping on our school grounds?
On Monday the children and staff were shocked to find a tent amongst our trees. We have set up an incident desk and, at the moment, our children are junior investigators under the guidance of Officer Hill of the Lancashire Police.
It's a mystery!
WELCOME TO BAINES ENDOWED VC SCHOOL
Thank you for taking the time to view our continually developing website.
Founded in 1717 by local draper James Baines, we are a village school that maintains his commitment to provide an excellent education to children of the local area. The school's buildings have expanded over the past few hundred years to include a mixture of old and new. We have two halls, seven classrooms, a library and smaller work rooms with several improvement projects planned for the future. We are proud of the caring and nurturing community that we offer all of Baines Endowed's children.
Our mission statement underpins and emphasises all staff's approach to ensure that all of our pupils thrive and succeed in a stimulating and creative environment.
Staff and pupils work together to create an atmosphere of celebration and achievement.
